We just came for the BBB Rally and had a wonderful time. We loved the cabins and the area.. It was beautiful there. The only complaint that we had for the whole time we where there was the road coming in and out of the Park.. It is terrible, with potholes. We would gladly come back next year if that was fixed..

Do not rent one of the six cabins at lake leatherwood-scary!
Front window was busted, spiders all over the cabin and wasps. We were told it had a queen bed - had a full. And the bed was so uncomfortable I almost got up at 2am to go sleep in our truck. Shower stall had hair in it....eww ..gross. Overall bad experience. We left so fast the next morning and found a cleaner, better hotel in down town Eureka.

Do not recommend these cabins.

In answer to your question which I just now have read and hope someone else has answered as I have been ill for some time is that you must reserve the stay for the first night that you stay which would be non-refundable if you wre a no show. I hope this helps and that it is not too late Thank you for your interest in the park.

I was reading about your rates for cabin rental. Did I read it correctly. You must pay a non-refundable deposit of 1 nights rental? Does that mean a deposit in order to hold the reservation and you forfeit that deposit even if you stay the nights reserved or is that merely non-refundable if you no-show? I was a little confused. My wife and I would love to stay at your park but were just confused by the deposit. Thanks.
